Put a FC450 head with DRC V4 cam on my 501. Some porting on the head. Installed a Wossner 13.6:1 piston for FC450 in it. (Piston likely helped the least.) GET ECU with taco moto tune for 501. 44mm throttle body and injector from FC450. Use VP T4 fuel. It does run on pump gas. Full FMF 4.1 exhaust. It greatly increased power all the way through the RPM range. It can lug through about anything in 3rd gear now. Ride it hill climbing, dunes, on the track, single track. I weight 265, I like the extra power. No 450 I have rode with will outpull it on a hill or in the dunes. I ride with all the colors.
